Solar Panel (PV) Rebates and Loans
Solar Victoria Provide a rebate of up to $1,400 for solar panel (PV) system installation, for homeowners with existing homes, homes under construction and rental properties.
To further reduce installation costs, eligible Victorians can apply for an interest-free loan, of $1,400. The loan is required to be repaid over four years or can be repaid sooner in one lump sum. The loan is means tested and only aviabale to those who meet the criteria.

STC rebate
The Australian Government's STC rebate helps reduce the upfront cost of installing an eligible solar PV system. Depending on your system size, location and installation date, eligible customers can receive thousands of dollars in savings towards their solar installation.
As a guide, a typical residential solar system may receive approximately $2,000–$2,500 in STC savings for a 6.6kW system and $3,000–$4,000 in STC saving for a 10kW solar system.

Eligible Victorian households can access the Victorian Government's interest-free Solar Battery Loan to help spread the cost of installing a home battery. You are able to pair the loan with available battery rebates also.

The Australian Government's Cheaper Home Batteries Program helps eligible households reduce the upfront cost of installing a home battery system. Eligible customers can receive around 30% off the cost of an approved battery installation, with typical savings of approximately $3,000–$5,000 depending on the size of the battery system and installation requirements.
